Initial Consultation Agreement
- Scope of Service:
The Consultant will provide an initial consultation to the Client regarding immigration matters. This includes reviewing the Client's background, discussing immigration objectives, exploring potential pathways, and offering general advice on processes and requirements. - Consultation Fee:
The fee covers only this consultation, is non-refundable, and must be paid in full before the consultation begins. - Confidentiality:
All information provided by the Client during the consultation will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the Client's consent, except where required by law. - No Guarantee of Outcome:
The Consultant cannot guarantee the outcome of any immigration application or process. The advice given during the consultation is based on the information provided and the current immigration laws and policies at the time of the consultation. - Limitation of Services:
The initial consultation does not include the preparation or submission of any immigration applications or documents. Should the Client wish to retain the Consultant for further services, a separate retainer agreement will be required. - Termination of Agreement:
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the Client will be responsible for any fees incurred up to the point of termination. - Governing Law:
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada. - Professional Affiliation:
The Consultant is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is bound by its By-laws, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. - Acknowledgment:
By paying the service fees, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Initial Consultation Agreement.
